Summary

The body next to the grave was very undignified, splayed like some falcon had come and dropped him from a great height. He lay sprawled upon the dirt. His armor, once gleaming in battle, had lost some of its menace in his stillness, though it clung to him with an unsettling elegance. The horned helm was gone, leaving his pale face exposed. Dark hair spilled across his brow, damp, contrasting sharply with the pallor of his skin. His breastplate, a deep green enamel inlaid with gold filigree, its surface was scratched and dented.
Stepping over the body of the noble, accidentally clipping him with her shovel in the process, she scooped her stored dirt back over the grave. It was like no one was ever there. Well, she turned to the dead body she had accidentally acquired; he was there.
“Would you like to go home with me good sir?” She asked politely with a playful grin. He was dead and would not answer. They never did. “I think I might focus on your brain, it looks well placed.” She poked into his temple with her fingernail. Loki groaned and sat up slowly behind her, rubbing its forehead. She hit Loki, son of Odin, Second Prince of Asgard, across the face with her shovel with a squeal. It made a resounding thwack.Series
