The blonde had a small frame that fit snug into his white medical coat and a stethoscope placed purposefully around his neck. Small, pale hands pressed buttons on the machine and concentrated on making adjustments.
Then he turned to address Craig properly.
“Hmm, heart rate is a little high…normal rhythm though…”

There wasn't anything he could do about it anyway. Everyone knew, it seemed. When speaking to them, most sounded concerned or overly cautious, like talking to frightened, aggressive kittens. Otherwise, they were pressed against lockers, whispering about how the pallor slowly drained from their faces and they seemed to withdraw into only observing, observing everything.
