Summary
They both come to a stop outside the 7/11, staring up at the lights which are equally as offensive on the eyes as they are a relief to see. Jisung looks even more tired and disgruntled in the harsh illumination, and on anyone else the effect may have made them look older but for a second all Chan can see is an overworked teenager. Then he blinks, and his freshly twenty-three year old dongsaeng is beside him again, rolling his bottom lip between his teeth as he digs through his pockets for a mask.

Summary
As a consequence of spending his entire trainee period and most of his rookie career on blockers without pause, Chan’s heat can be a little unpredictable. There’s no real rhyme or reason as to when it comes or its severity, but it’s not like there will ever be a time that it isn’t inconvenient for it to happen considering their schedules. As long as it occurs at least twice a year as is expected, Chan is happy to grin and bear it. He’s lucky in the grand scheme of things.
Besides, he’s never blindsided too hard. He has a built-in early warning system down the hall.

Summary
Jeongin’s vision is suddenly filled with Minho, Minho’s glazed eyes, Minho’s flush down his neck, Minho Minho Minho. Minho who clumsily squeezes his cheeks, cooing when Jeongin splutters as he’s forced into a pout. “Cutie Innie. Innie darling,” he says seriously, utterly unprompted. “Look at you.”
“You are so drunk,” Jeongin laughs, words jumbling in his squished mouth. He bats at Minho’s hands, long fingers eclipsing his wrist. “Hyung-” Minho makes a disgruntled sound, leaning in and up to plant a kiss on his forcefully puckered lips. His hand is in the way but he doesn’t have the forethought to move it, simply choosing to struggle.

Summary
“Did I wake you?” the stranger asks, and Minho studies him curiously over the chain. He’s of a similar height to Minho- paler, deep bags grooved under alert eyes. A handsome face. The rumpled suit on his back seems to be all he has, no bag or keys in sight. He’s simply a man, shadowed on the step of Minho’s church at two am, and yet Minho feels as though his blood has turned to ice. “I apologise if I did. I saw a light and assumed someone was home.”

Summary
“What if I want an excuse to spoonfeed you, though,” Felix pouts, and Chris drops his mouth open with a loud aaaaahhh right in his ear. Felix laughs, lifting a spoonful up and out of the pot. He blows on it for a moment to let it cool, cupping his free hand under as he carefully guides it above his shoulder and into Chris’ waiting mouth. He waits, patient, letting Chris gather his thoughts. From here he’ll either get honest feedback or a bunch of noises that mean, uwah! Yummy!

Summary
Maybe it’s the atmosphere but right now Chan reminds Jisung of a seashell. Cracked and weathered, too far up shore to find home or get dragged back to it by the waves, but you can still hear it in him. That faint song.

Summary
"You asked."
“Wish I didn’t.” Minho’s palm slides reverently up his shivering tummy, slipping back when he grazes the sharper than normal press of Seungmin’s ribs under his skin like he can’t bear the physical reminder of what he can’t give him. Minho doesn’t linger on the feeling and neither does Seungmin, hands warm, pressing over his navel now. Down. Pressure. Seungmin takes half a breath and then half of another, the air between their mouths icy puffs as Minho leans down. One small hand propped beside his head, the other now caressing his jaw and tilting his head upwards towards him. “What are you dreaming of?”
Seungmin doesn’t miss a beat. “You.” He shakes, chapped mouth parting on a desperate little sound when Minho kisses the arch of his cheekbone. “Always you, hyung.”

Summary
Felix’s hand comes to a rest beside Minho’s. Warm, tanned skin. Stark in comparison to the reinforced grey plastic his prosthetic had recently been upgraded to. Seungmin had offered to match his skin tone, but Minho didn’t see much point. It’s not like it matters, not like it will ever truly look organic. The seams and ridges of his joints have become familiar and it’s a good reminder. A warning.
When Felix speaks again his voice is deeper. Curious. “Is this home?”

Summary
Jisung says he’s been Seungmin’s fan since the survival show. He watched it with his cousin who is apparently obsessed with Hyunjin and got more invested than he thought he would or could. He’s never followed idols before, but Seungmin feels different. Special to him. Jisung writes that he’s kind of embarrassed to admit it, but he feels like he can say it to Seungmin. He talks about how much he admires Seungmin’s voice and all of the effort and time he puts into it, how he crafts himself to fit every song no matter the style or concept or topic and it’s… a lot. A lot of praise. Far more than Seungmin has heard lately. Enough he feels himself light up bright red, curling up into a ball on the couch when Chan joyously teases him. Seungmin hears him say something about the fangirls having lots to say about their puppy, but Seungmin remains tight lipped. Jisung feels as special to Seungmin as he might to him.
Or; ever since Seungmin debuted, he's received consistent letters from his first ever fan Jisung.

Summary
“Gonna be looking for a while.” Jeongin’s voice is rough with disuse, months gone by since he last spoke. Since he was last home. Minho can’t help the way he shivers when he feels the fluffy tip of his ear twitch against him, Jeongin content to nuzzle into his neck. Scent marking him, most likely, even though Minho had dutifully slept in the nest Jeongin assembled for him in the fall every night. Minho will never know the intricacies of scents, not with his dull ordinary nose, but he imagines Jeongin’s impression in him has faded over the months he’s been gone. He would also imagine - well, knows - that Jeongin can smell exactly how happy Minho is that he’s back, because Minho feels the shape of his sharp-toothed smile against his throat. Jeongin says this is where he smells the strongest. This, and also- hm. He shouldn’t think of that now. He can’t let Jeongin get too eager.
Every winter, Jeongin returns to the woods. Every spring, he returns to Minho.

Summary
“Hyung.” Jeongin’s voice sounds choked, unfamiliar to his own ears. Three faces swivel to him. “I’m- is it okay?”
“Whenever you’re ready,” Chan replies, airy, his hand settling on Jeongin’s shoulder. Close to his claiming bite, a few months healed now. Jeongin can feel where he links fingers with Minho over it, the action as possessive as the mark. “Wanna feel your knot, aegi.”

Summary
“But I’m still your favourite,” Jeongin adds on, dropping his head back. There it is. He twists in his arms and aims a cheeky smile up at Chan, foxy and sweet and innocent even with his trendy glasses sitting crooked on his cute nose and his too-long hair in his eyes. Chan doesn’t fight his grin. “Even out of all of them. Right, hyungie?”

Summary
Different. A surprise, that Chan’s snoring doesn’t bother Jeongin, when now he thinks it’s a relief to know he’s sleeping. Jeongin quickly becomes desensitised to Chan walking around half naked, and he tolerates (seeks out, even) the short bouts of cuteness aggression that has his tiny hyung squishing and squeezing him. Nuzzling their cheeks together to coo over him. At the end of the day, Chan respects his boundaries. Treats him like an adult. Chan doesn’t interrupt when Jeongin prays of a night, and Jeongin learns the tells of a sleep-deprived hyung in a new environment and develops ways to get him to bed with minimal fuss. They cuddle on the couch, though no one needs to know that. Chan cries easier than Jeongin at sad movies. He can’t hear anything when he has his headphones on to work but he still leaves his door cracked. In case you need me, Chan says, when Jeongin asks why.
