Summary
Though he can get pretty feisty and argumentative sometimes, Tobirama isn't one to fight. Not really.
His default response is to back down and submit; to follow orders. He is the perfect soldier in that sense and it worries Madara sometimes. It is not to say that Tobirama is meek, but at the same time he is clearly scared of people – of their presence and their touch, but most of all their anger.
This type of fear doesn't come out of nowhere. It is something learnt, often at a terrible cost.
