Summary
Glinda takes tentative steps forward, nervous and yet also somehow…excited. It has been so long since she last saw her. She pushes open the doors and steps out into the morning air. Even with the sun shining down on her, the wind so high up makes her feel cold down to her bones.
“Elphaba Thropp, I know you’re out here,” Glinda releases the words into the air around her. She can feel eyes on her, but there is no Elphaba to greet her. She sighs defeatedly, “Just come in before the monkeys spot you.”
And then suddenly there she is. The sight of her takes Glinda’s breath away. Those horrendible posters do not do her likeness justice. (Her heart cries out. She has missed her over these five long years.)
Or:
Glinda and Elphaba reunite on the day of her wedding. Partly based on information from the trailer for Wicked: For Good, but made infinitely more gay.Series

Summary
“And I have had so many friends,” Glinda jokes. Even if there is truth to her words, how many of those friends would she call true? The moment of levity lands. She is rewarded with her favorite sound in the whole world: Elphaba’s laugh.
It rings out clear as a bell. The sound so rare it sounds even sweeter to Glinda’s ears. The way her eyes twinkle, how her nose scrunches up, the gap between her front teeth showing before her mouth settles into a soft fond smile. Being able to make Elphaba laugh will always be her greatest achievement. And in that moment when she hears the sound again, her heart clenches painfully, so full of love. (Her Elphie has returned to her.) Glinda can’t stop the earnestness that slips into her voice even if she would have wanted to.
“But only one that mattered,” she confesses the truth to her. Her guts spilled out in front of her for Elphie’s perusal.
Or:
Glinda and Elphaba say goodbye, or do they? Based on the Wicked: For Good trailer featuring that scene where they almost kiss, but now they actually do.Series

Summary
Once settled, Glinda unlocks the mechanism on the side of the enchanted book and flips it open vertically before folding the covers open horizontally. She is surprised when something falls out from between the pages. She leans down to pick up the piece of paper. Her fingers grasp the edge of it and flip it over to find a pamphlet advertising the Emerald City. The cover takes her back to another time. It is worn and wrinkled, the edges softened from the amount of times it has been handled. The pages appear well-loved and taken care of, longing pressed into them. Glinda takes a deep breath before opening the pamphlet up carefully. As expected she finds her own words written in sparkly pink ink:
☙ I hope you get what
your heart desires.
– Galinda ♡But below it, another message has been added. Suspiciously surrounded by small stains of water, Glinda reads the words written in a scrawl that was once familiar to her:
So should you.
I’m sorry.Or:

Summary
Staring out across the vast expanse of the room, she can almost fool her mind into believing that she can see Elphie waiting for her at the end of the aisle. (Her smile for just a moment grows genuine.)
Glinda shakes her head trying to dislodge the foolish idea. When that doesn’t do the trick she pinches at the skin of her finger to pull herself back to the present. Elphaba had refused to join her. Again. She needs to put this childish desire to rest, to lock away her heart. Glinda is to be wed to Fiyero and she couldn’t be happier. (So what if her eyes continuously drift towards his wedding suit with its positively emerald shade. The same color as her skin. Nobody need ever know about that.)

Summary
They would sit together in Glinda’s room to drink and reminisce. Doing their utmost not to mention the name of the person that lingers in the room with them. (Elphaba exists like a ghost, a haunting between them.) She exists in Glinda’s memories, in her love and desire. But also in the ways Nessa is alike to her sister even as she tries to deny it, tries to resist it. Glinda sees it in the way she dresses, the way she laughs, the shape of her eyes.
And so no one should have been surprised when on one such evening, inebriated and lost in a haze of memory, Glinda leaned in and kissed her. What was a surprise was that Nessa kissed her back.
Or:
Glinda wants Elphaba, Nessa wants to get back at Boq. Neither truly gets what they want. Instead they are left with each other. What happens when Elphaba finds out?

Summary
Glinda pulls her closer, her arms wrapping even more tightly around her. She can feel Elphie’s arms squeezing around her middle. She holds her breath as if that might bring her just that bit closer to her. As if breathing in her scent might be too painful, too memorable when that earthy scent will be gone soon. Elphaba’s words echo around her head, like a ringing church bell calling the devoted to its pews: We can’t let good be just a word. It has to mean something.

Summary
Glinda’s tongue sticks to the inside of her mouth, dry and useless. What can she possibly say to her after everything that has passed between them. She readjusts her hands on the grip of the glass wand. She sees Elphaba’s focus shift towards the movement of her hands. The look in her eyes is scathing as she tells her derisively, “You can wave that wand all you want, but you have no real power.”
(...) No real power, she said. Glinda will show her power. With a sudden viscousness she brings the wand up and lashes out with the pointed end that looks like a mace. She strikes with the aim to hurt, the aim to harm.

Summary
In another world, another time, there was no death. It would all be a farce, though she wouldn’t have known it. Her grief would have been real and vulnerable and raw. No, one mourns the Wicked.
In this world, the tragedy is all too real: her beloved is dead. But Glinda will not grieve for that which she does not accept to be permanent.
A faked death mourned, a real death refused. What a twisted world Oz is.

Summary
Fiyero gives his ultimatum in case the guards refuse to release Elphaba, “Or else explain to all Oz how the Wizard’s guards watched while Glinda the Good was slain.”
His words are underscored by his gun swiveling towards her. Glinda’s eyes turn towards him in disbelief, she feels like the world has been thrown off-kilter. Rationally, she can understand why he would threaten her life. It is a way to make the guards listen to his demands. But there is not a singular bone in her body that can think rationally when Glinda feels like she has been punched in the chest.

Summary
She lets her doubts slip away, for there is nothing else that Glinda could do in this moment but respond in kind, “I love you too.”
The moment the words leave her lips, Elphie smiles at her one more time. Glinda can see her bottom lip is trembling and her hands are shaking where they hold the edge of the door. But she does not waver as she closes the door of the closet with Glinda inside. The wooden surface inches from her face feels like a mockery.

Summary
“Who could have left that door open?” Nessa poses the rhetorical question.
Elphaba answers anyway, “I did.” The mirror through which she can see her sister cracks with the loss of control in her magic.
Seeing her sister again for the first time in years leaves Elphaba startled, her emotions going haywire and her magic following in its path. She freezes at the sight of the bags beneath her eyes, the tension in her shoulders, the shock in her eyes at her sudden appearance. Her little sister, grown so very old and weary in her absence. (She appears the spitting image of their mother. Gone, gone, gone. Her fault.)

Summary
The Grimmerie seems alive, the words shifting and changing into different shapes as if rearranging themselves to become legible for her. (Like the book wants her to save Elphie with a spell.) “Do it,” Elphie chokes out, encouraging her by nodding at the book. Her skin has become a pale shade of green, no longer the radiant emerald instead a deadly sage.
Glinda squints at the book some more, her insecurities weighing her down, “You know I can’t read this.”
“You can do it,” Elphaba rasps as a gurgling sound pushes at the back of her throat, but she persists, “You can do anything.”
Or:
What if Fiyero accidentally shoots Elphaba in her confrontation with the Wizard and Glinda has to figure out a way to save her?Series
