Summary
In the wake of Aemond Targaryen losing an eye at Driftmark, King Viserys I chooses a banishment for his grandson, Lucerys Velaryon, rather than a more severe punishment.
For ten years, the boy will live with his grandparents, Corlys and Rhaenys Velaryon, at Driftmark. To ease the family tension, the king also commands Rhaenyra to return to King’s Landing as his Hand.
Thirteen years later, with Lucerys's inheritance now in question, Corlys Velaryon returns to the capital with the boy—now a hardened and violent man. To the shock of his family, Lucerys has changed completely, holding a deep grudge against them.
His new, unexpected bond with a new face Hightower only further complicates his return, forcing the royal family to face the consequences of the past and a future they no longer recognize.

Single, 25 year old Jace wasn't ready to find out that he was pregnant. He really wasn't ready to find out that he had an extra uterus. He DEFINITELY wasn't ready to find out that each uterus had a baby inside, which apparently meant that they could have come from two different hookups.
