Vernon wrinkles his nose before he can think better of it. “Come on, I’m not that much of a masochist. Imagine his little stressed puppy face. He won’t know what to do.”
Giggling, Seungkwan replies, “I can see the exact face you’re talking about. Sure, he’s not usually that good at listening, but this is a big deal for you. I’m sure he’s been thinking already about what he’d say.”
How could Seungkwan know that? Vernon’s mystified, as always. How can he just picture what Seungcheol might be thinking, or doing, and decide so confidently? To him, when he imagines the thoughts of the other members, anything is possible. It’s like a whole other universe, with different laws of physics, no sense of the same emotional gravity as in his own head.
