He then reached down and, taking the barely visible piece of nanotechnology and setting it on his fingertip, he slowly reached down towards his little mouse friend he’d affectionately named Steve, because that was the best possible name for such a creature and not at all just the first name that had popped into his head. The tiny creature lost the use of his back legs a year ago, and Peter had been seeking to help the little tyke overcome the effects en route to doing the same for Flash and hopefully millions of others.

    “Alright, little buddy,” he said as he slowly lowered his finger containing the small device towards the creature. “Nice and easy...”
