Scott gasped, scandalized. “Yeah! Why can’t we go? We’re brothers now too!”
Noah huffed out a tired laugh, rubbing a hand over his face. “Because both of you are going to be in bed and asleep when we get home.”
Stiles’ whole face crumpled in betrayal. “What? Why?”
“Because school starts next week,” Melissa reminded gently. “And bedtime is eight o’clock now.”
Stiles let out a sound that could only be described as wounded goose.
Scott looked genuinely horrified. “Eight? Like… eight eight?”
“Yes,” Noah said dryly. “Like eight eight.”
Stiles slapped a tiny hand to his chest. “But that’s soon!”

“Look, I'm running on just, like, three full hours of sleep. I haven't had a single drop of caffeine in my system, and my waffles are getting cold,” he said, heading to reheat his coffee.
