He still loves his wife, but perhaps it's time to find some happiness again. He never fully healed from the tragedy of her loss. He isn't ready to leave the police force just yet, either. JKR does not know how to write cultures outside of her own, so we're fixing it.In the ancient curves of the Appalachian Mountains lies Felmanuga, a wizarding school shrouded in mist. Despite its reputation with ghost stories, cryptids, and haunting ballads, Jasper Petrov's parents believe he will be safer at Felmanuga than he was his old school, where a powerful force began following him.
At Felmanuga, Jasper meets and befriends the Adairs, a family who had a mysterious blessing placed on them generations ago. Rumors about the Adair family have caused their only daughter, Elonwyn, to become a victim of bullying while her brother Corrin falls into detention after detention trying to protect her. As Elonwyn attempts to shake her family’s reputation and finish her years at Felmanuga, the dark rumors about her “blessing” begin to sound more and more true.
Jasper, Elonwyn, and Corrin realize their shadows might not be too different, all the while something is watching them from the quiet trees around Felmanuga.
