There was this tiny hiccup in between a lot of things that needed to be fixed. When his very own instrument was misplaced and wrecked, that wasn’t the hiccup at all with the ability of rewinding back an item as a Psychic. That one and only hiccup that got him stuck was his psychic powers.
For all he knew, he was rushing across the street with a broken headphone around his neck then the next step, he was standing by the seashore to who knows where. And by the seashore, he stumbled upon an entity that resembled nothing like a human, sort of.

Summary
Saiki and his friends finally graduate high school, but Saiki fails to rid himself of his psychic powers—though he does escape the endless loop of repeating his second year and gains a semblance of normal life. All of them end up at the same university, much to Saiki’s dismay, yet the first month passes peacefully despite new annoyances.
That calm ends when Teruhashi reveals she’s dating Saiko. Initially indifferent, Saiki slowly realizes he’s feeling jealousy and frustration—emotions new to him. As these feelings grow, he becomes distant toward Teruhashi, until they eventually boil over and lead to a confrontation between them.

Just then, though, the pain in the psychic's head intensified ten-fold, in the way he knew all too well: he was getting a premonition. Images spilled into his mind for a good minute or two, showing him his friends suffering sleepless nights, failed attempts at studying, collapsing in the halls once again (even Hairo), and low exam results. It was shocking to see, and therefore worrying. He knew those companions of his needed to do better than that, because the results of that one set of tests they only did once would determine what they'd be 'allowed' to do for the rest of their lives…
Saiki got a premonition and he had to make a change to how the winter holidays worked in Japan. Everyone rejoiced! However, this resulted in a Christmas party at Saiko Land, and he had to go because the Room of Sweets was there.
Predictably, things would go wrong. A party-crasher would arrive at the worst possible moment, planting the seeds that would uproot everyone's lives and bring about his own downfall. The story that has yet to be named begins here.
