“Why isn’t Reality a cat?” Tony asked seriously.
Rhodey glared at him. “They’re a bad influence on you.”
“Or am I the bad influence?”
Rhodey threw his hands up in frustration.
He couldn’t actually answer that question with any degree of certainty.
“The little shits are multiplying,” he declared.

“Are those the Infinity Stones?!” this new Stephen asked in shock.
Rhodey supposed it must be pretty shocking to see Reality perched on Tony’s shoulder while Space nestled in his hair. Mind was casually floating around like some kind of wobbly halo. Or drunk eureka lightbulb.

“I’m the Blue Rock,” Space piped up. “See, I can describe myself too.”
“You’re the bad influence,” Rhodey decided, looking at Tony.
He grimaced since he couldn’t really argue that.

Rhodey sighed as he stepped out of his armour. He was tired of dealing with four Tonys instead of just the one he signed up for.

For now, Tony was focused on getting the damn Space Stone out of the arc reactor.
Apparently, it got drunk on the similar energy. Mind and Reality were cackling in the background as Tony carried the drunkenly singing stone to the timeout box.
Morgan was never this difficult. Wasn't the first kid supposed to be the worst?
Oh wait, that would be Peter wouldn’t it? And he did give Tony a fair amount of heart attacks. No, actually it would be Harley.
He took it all back, Harley was a little shit.

“Hey Time,” Tony greeted blandly. “Please tell me you’re more responsible than your siblings.
“I ressssssent that sssstatement,” Reality huffed as it sauntered into the room.
“You are the embodiment of that statement,” Tony shot back, going back to his coffee.
“What is going on?” Wong asked, staring at Reality in shock.
“Don’t give him attention. That’s what the attention whore wants,” Tony warned him.

Reality decided that was the moment to leap into Tony's lap and pretend to be an actual cat, demanding pets. A flash of blue and a weight on his head gave away Space’s arrival while a flicker of yellow in the hallway suggested that Mind was lurking around.
Wong stared at him in shock.
“Those are the Infinity Stones.”
“They’re menaces,” Tony corrected.
“Yes, they are,” Time agreed serenely.
“Shhhhut up,” Reality hissed.
“I’ve been perfectly well-behaved,” Space argued in offence.
“I’ve been a little shit and it’s been glorious,” Mind said shamelessly as it floated into the room.

Tony looked around at them and sighed. “They’re my Infinity Children,” he said, finally giving in to the inevitable.
“We’re older than you!” Mind said.
“Can I call you dad now?” Space asked.
Reality grinned, which was an odd sight on the cat. Brought to mind images of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
“Yes daddy.”
Tony shoved Reality off his lap. “You’ve always got to make things weird!”

Ngl I've been feeling the need for Hope (and more™) crawling as well, I think I can avoid it for now, but if I won't I'm making this ahead of time so I can shove it in the next bookmark notes that have room. Technically focused on Hope, but can include Janet/Hank. I know in some comic versions Tony and Janet are close, while I'm also familiar with Maria and Janet being friends and Janet being basically an aunt to Tony. Mind you I highly doubt either of them would show up and fit the Liked tag without Hope already fitting it (outside of mentioned comic versions) but shrug, playing it safe, which is why I'm using Wasp rather than her name

Similarly to Iron Tech, but fire/flame/heat related. Can be from Extremis, mutation, experiments, non-human nature, magic.. Just anything where Tony has influence over fire, flame and alike.
Sigh I know by now it's stupid to not do the tag when it pops up to mind. Fine. Welcome tag. There's plenty that would call here, so only future fics I come across or old ones I know would fit and I come across by chance.
Iron Fire doesn't always mean Powered Iron, for example fics where Tony is a Phoenix but the flames/fire only occurs when he dies, that's not Powered Iron.
Hmm, creature that can create flames (usually dragon) count, so long as he actually does something with fire and alike in the fic. That doesn't mean Powered Iron either, unless it's literally stated to be a power. A dragon breathing fire is just that, Iron Fire only. -

Only now it finally makes sense, finally feels right.Because she is Persephone reborn, a goddess of Creation, of Life, of blossoming and growth.
And Steve, her Hades, her god of Endings, of Death, of silence and peace, should have stood by her side.
And yet …

She doesn’t let that make her falter though, can’t.Because others might have forgotten the truth of her, might have been taken by the legends and the myths written by men, but Toni has not.
Toni has not forgotten, will never forget, that her name wasn’t always Persephone.
It was Kore once.
Little girl. The maiden.
A throw away name for a throw away child, a by-blow that the Sky Father Zeus had seldom acknowledged.
She’d been wild even then, Toni remembers. A barefoot and tangle haired whirlwind that the others of the Mount had whispered and pointed at. Always running, always creating, always free and mostly forgotten except by a mother who held on too tightly.
But even that had only been when it suited Demeter, only when she needed things to blossom and grow so she could reap the worship that came alongside each harvest.
Kore, the little girl, the maiden, had only been loved when she’d been useful.
And then she’d finally rebelled.
She'd left her sun bound flowers and her nymph companions behind.
She’d chosen the Underworld.
Had chosen Hades.

Instead he’d forced Toni, Kore’s, hand, had pried her from her love and her throne for seasons at a time.And, in the aftermath of Demeter’s tantrum, he had even seen fit to rename her.
Had stripped the name she’d worn for millennia from her and forced a new one upon her in its place.
Had branded her Persephone as one part punishment and one part reminder to all of what he’d called her true nature.
Persephone.
Chaos Bringer.
And Toni has unknowingly, or perhaps subconsciously, lived up to the legacy of both her new name and her true aspect for her entire mortal life.
She has been both chaos bringer and creator.

She built a kingdom, a life, for the both of them together. For her and for Hades, for Steve.She’d turned her penchant for creation in a new direction and watched bombs and weapons bloom to life beneath her hands. She’d brought forth metal flowers of the most poisonous kind in an unknowing tribute to the Death that would always be her mate.

Toni has suffered and bled for and because of the new aged underworld she built from the framework left to her by yet another careless and cruel would be father god.And she did it all for the husband, the god, the king, the mate, who does not want her.

She doesn’t get a soft restart, doesn’t get to reset the clock, to perhaps, one day, be reborn again.No, not her.
Instead she comes hurtling back down to earth, an unwilling Icarus destroyed in this moment.
A girl, a goddess, who longed for the dark sun of the void and was, yet again, rejected.
But Toni is nothing if not a creature of creation, of adaptability, of survival.
Because isn’t that what Spring is? Isn’t that what Life is?

Has been for longer than human history can accurately record.
Because life is filled with pain and creation itself is an agonizing sort of joy.
Death, not Life, is where true peace is found.

“Persephone huh?” Rhodey asks, face soft as he brings his hands up to cup her face in his palms. “You know, I could see it.”“You think I’m Persephone?” Toni can’t help but ask because she’d never outright told him what her aspect truly is. “Not Hades instead?”
“Oh, sweetheart,” Rhodey says as his fingers trail up and into her hair like he’s searching for something, “of course you’re Life.”

But she is also a goddess.
And Creation bows before no one, not even Death. Not really. Not in the ways that matter.
So Toni reaches out and grabs hold of that thread that connects the two of them.

Summary
Tony meets Stephen Strange in the aftermath of Civil War, and finds common ground with the sorcerer. Stephen, as is his way, ends up finding trouble, and Wong finds this all rather tedious.

Tony can protect souls, or he can harm them. He can recall the dead back to the living which can be disastrous, or he can do something similar as to how he called upon Maria to communicate with her soul
He can also obviously create souls, created Jarvis' and Friday's and Vision's and Dum-e's. While tbh somehow most of this fic was basically completely new to me i.e didn't remember shit from it, the two parts that definitely triggered some memory of it, were Stephen needing to reverse time, and the massacre Rocket did and it affecting Tony badly

Poor Pete.. he's raging at the guardians and yes it's understandable, but normally he wouldn't do this, it's the grief and guilty and everything about Tony that makes him this mean.
Thanos acts like Tony isn't kidnapped nor his prisoner, but he is because he can't leave, and he agreed to be kidnapped due to his psuedo son life being at risk.
Thanos 'Always' keep his word
Oh hm a thing I missed, IronStrange was a thing in the fic but like, before canon? So I assume before Afghanistan and when Stephen was a doctor. Anyways from what I see, it's supposed to be Pepperony at the end, yet I don't remember that.
Reality Stone used on Tony to make him think he has a flashback, he doesn't know that tho.

Thanos broke his promise, as Vision IS Tony's kid. Just because he betrayed him (ehhh, not really in my eyes. He's a mix of a new born and adult, knowledgeable yet clueless, innocent and not malicious.) Doesn't make him any less one of Tony's.
