Summary
Legosi Larson, Conduit of String, lives a simple double life of crime-fighting and being Cherryton's number one loser. Growing up near the Black Market and losing both his father and mother to tragic events, he knows that the life of being a preppy kid doesn't suit him, especially when he has a severe case of hero complex and an attitude to give when others annoy him, blaming it all on his autism. They called him the Spider, the silver thread. Worrying about others around him while he wishes to prove something in his life, he doesn't know yet, and just blames it on his autism.
To make matters worse, he has a crush on a gazelle-leopard hybrid by the name of Malcom Slone, or as he likes to be called Melon, who is four years older than him, and another conduit vigilante than him with some loosme screws, the conduit of blood, the blood sport, the vampire. Someone with their own personal demons and fighting to not become like his mother and father, that hurt him in no way a parent should hurt a child of theirs.
Together they will stop a plot to destroy the city as more than friends.

Summary
Legoshi had big plans for the new semester—he was going to become more confident, say yes to new experiences, not spill a single drink, and hopefully step into a new era of getting laid every night.
Which doesn't go as planned because everything is an uphill battle for a wolf who constantly apologizes to trees he walks into, for tripping over air, for breathing too loud, for merely existing.
Melon, the new, hot hybrid transfer student, practically walks on water. He never trips, never stumbles, never walks into anything, has a regal air to him, and moves with a grace and confidence Legoshi could only wish he had a crumb of—the memory of a crumb, actually, because he could never dare to be that greedy.
No one would have ever guessed that they would cross paths, but the universe works in chaotic ways and after multiple (disastrous) encounters, Legoshi achieves the goal that started it all, but in the process, gets a lot more than he bargained for.
But it’s autumn.
And chaos is in season.

Now, imagine how hard his life is by being twenty-five percent Komodo dragon, twenty-five percent gray wolf, and fifty percent Maasai lion. Yeah, his life won't be easy, but he will do his best.

After the events of the Black Market Territory War, Legoshi is able to live the life he wanted.
After erasing his criminal record, he marries Haru, buys a house, and the two experience one of the most beautiful and important stages of their lives: becoming parents.
But having a hybrid child worries Legoshi greatly, as he can't help but think about everything that happened with Melon. Haru and the most important people in his life help him overcome these inner fears.
His son will not have an easy time growing up, even more so when he attends the same Cherryton School, but he has the support of his parents and another hybrid who also attends.
As time goes by, he begins to have many doubts and questions about how his parents met and how he got his visible scars.
