“Lu–” Andrews voice cracks. He clears his throat. “Luca… you’re still awake? At this hour?” He stays in the doorway to the bedroom, adjusting the sleeves of his shirt. He hadn’t considered the possibility of an impromptu sleepover caused by snowfall, so the only clothes he had to sleep in were those he came with on his body, under his uniform.
Luca looks over at Andrew, his eyebrows raising under brown bangs. “Andrew! Yes, I'm still up. I usually take a while to fall asleep… and the cold certainly isn't helping. I see you’re in the same predicament as I.” he chuckles, his shoulders raised to his ears, hands still trembling despite clutching the duvet. Andrew nods silently and stares at the other man. The small, flickering candle on the coffee table is the only light in the dark. His fingers twitch, one hand raising for a moment before dropping to his side again.
Luca stares right back. “... Do you… need anyth–”
