Summary
The one thing nobody ever told Marcus, about the long process to becoming a Death Eater, was how fucking boring it is. He's stuck guarding the abandoned Black place, but when Snape brings him a new task, he's put on a collision course with Harry Potter, who he hasn't seen in years.
Harry doesn't much like anyone, doesn't much like himself most days, which is impressive since he feels like he has no idea who he even is, but that's okay, Marcus likes him enough for the both of them.
Snape has his own motivations for putting Marcus on this job though, and when it comes to a head, Marcus and Harry will be forced to stay in an unfamiliar safe house together, indefinitely. Stuck with nothing but themselves, a house that hasn't been touched since the 1950s, their own thoughts, and their opposite positions in the war, what will two young men plucked out of a conflict learn about themselves and each other?

As if their lengthy and invasive questionnaires could possibly find them suitable partners with which to procreate and raise children with.
It’s a cauldron full of thestral shite mandated by an overreaching government. At least that’s what Hermione Granger believes until she meets her auspicious match, Marcus Flint. She doesn’t want to admit that the Ministry managed to do a better job at picking a partner for her than she herself could have done. However when he calls her little dove and princess, engulfs her hand with his own, and holds her through the night, banishing the never ending trauma of her youth, she has to concede that maybe the matchmakers knew a thing or two when pairing her with the possessive, protective wizard whom she loves to call Daddy.
Now if only those protesting the initiative would dispense before they succeed in having it overturned.
