Arthur Morgan had been with the Van der Linde gang for just shy of eight years, and his loyalty to those who gave him refuge and purpose was not to be questioned. After sneaking out of Chicago following havoc they may have inadvertently caused, the gang move from bustling Illinois to the prairie fields of northern Kansas and are in need of money. Looking for honest work to keep his hands clean as a newcomer of the state, Arthur gets a job at Old Stone Ranch, owned by one esteemed but covetous and dour entrepreneur and businessman, Henry Gillis. What Arthur soon learns is that the ranch is a family business set to pass down to Gillis’ eldest child, Mary, who Arthur takes a liking to. As the duo from two different worlds get closer and closer, Arthur is forced to reflect on where his loyalties lie: can he fight and change for the woman he loves despite all odds, or continue giving in to the outlaw life he has been moulded to fit into?

The two cowboys embark on a twisting journey to rescue Soap’s comrades, and, in doing so, Ghost gains a few new friends (some with benefits). The two of them track Soap’s captured gang across the Western Frontier, meeting an array of new people and discovering things about themselves. Certain things have Ghost conflicted, most of those things carrying the names ‘Arthur Morgan’ and ‘John MacTavish’. One, a reflection of himself and the other the complete opposite.

He claims he brought her back but doesn't tell her why, in the meantime her only goal is to find her family no mater what.
What she doesn't count on is meeting Dutch's right hand man and enforcer of the gang, nor their complicated relationship that follows.

“Charles.” Arthur broke the quiet, his eyes not abandoning the sight. “When all of this is over… Can you promise me you’ll be alright? Can you promise me to get yourself out and not look back?” He finally turned his head towards him, only to find Charles already looking back at him. Their eyes seemed to hold a silent conversation of their own, not breaking contact for even a second.
“I promise.” He whispered. A weight got lifted off of Arthur’s chest at that. He knew Charles could keep his promise, he had no doubt in trusting him on that. “But I’m getting you out, too.”

As a twenty-year-old Polish woman, Martine Cook, or should I say - Marta Kucharska, arrives to Saint Denis to become an officer. What a chance would it be for her to spread peace and harmony in a world ruled by gangs and murderers. As it will turn out, everything is not as simple as it seems. Due to her fragility, good manners and… different culture she is not capable of adapting to Lemoyne state without some special help. Moreover, her language barrier, specific upbringing and voices in her head, could make it even harder for her to live among citizens of the biggest city and as well as small villages located nearby. It is hard for her to change who she is and what she was taught too. Will she eventually find what she came for? Or will she simply change her priorities? There is nothing more than to see, what the world has prepared for her.
The young Polish citizen has secrets that not everyone shall know. It is up to her to finish what she came for or to be filled with bitterness, confusion and failure.
Maybe such an acquaintance with the right people will make her mission successfully accomplished?Shall her journey begin hereby.
