A love story between the Wind Hashira's younger brother and the Sound Hashira's youngest sister. The latter is the ninth child of the Uzui clan and desires to know her worth, while the former couldn't use Breathing Forms in order for his older brother to recognize his existence. From their shared insecurities and standoffish natures, they become close to each other, even more than what anyone expected. This franchise belongs to Koyoharu Gotouge, so all characters, except my OCs, belong to them. Meanwhile, this fanfic is a remake of "I Like You, Scars and All" on Wattpad with the book cover being a work in progress until I could find an artist. Despite all of this, their numbers continue to thin to the point where the people of Japan as a whole do not fear them, with murmurs that they are becoming an endangered species.
Hidden in a box, beneath the floorboards in some forgotten corner of a certain old house, is a book. This book, part journal and part confessional account, details one young man's transformation into a vampire and the treachery therein. These are the contents of that book.
This work is inspired by 'Overhunter Hunter', the oneshot by Koyoharu Gotouge which served as the prototype for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Once in the mountain villages it was a custom that once a year on the night of the new year's first moon, an unlucky young lady would be selected and left for the demons to become one of the unlucky few who married such a husband. In exchange for this offering the demons would protect the villages and leave the humans in peace. Until one day a powerful warrior drove the demons away freeing the humans of them. Now 2,000 years later, it's become a tradition that once a year, a new young lady would be picked and wait for her future husband to retrieve her from a shrine in the mountains. And now the lucky tradition would fall upon Y/n L/n. It would be her own turn to take on the tradition and not have to worry about demons. After all that part of the old tradition was just fake, made up by paranoid ancestors. Everyone knew demons didn't exist.

Summary
Yushiro’s eyes never left her once. He did that often, when he and Tamayo were together and she was absorbed in her work. There wasn’t a moment where he did not take the time out of whatever he was doing to just pause and look up, admiring from afar. This woman truly was everything he lived for and he thought about this every single day without fail. Whether he was treating someone when she couldn’t, or deep cleaning the ENTIRE three story house(his lady can’t focus when anything is dirty), running tests, etc. It amazed him sometimes, how one person was apart of every single aspect of his life even when she herself wasn’t aware how much time he truly spent on her.
He’d be nothing without her, really.
