Tanjiro somehow persuaded Giyuu to accompany him to the nearby village to get some medical supplies for Shinobu. On the way there, they are attacked by a demon with scarlet eyes. Giyuu is done with people protecting him, and he’ll do anything to make sure that Tanjiro stays out of harms way– even at the cost of his own mortality.

En otra linea Sabito dejó vivir a la demonio recién nacida tras ser testigo del valor de su hermano mayor, quizás es que ve un poco de su yo más joven reflejado en él... al menos espera que el chiquillo pueda proteger a su hermana, a diferencia de él, quien falló en salvar a Giyuu durante su selección final. Giyuu no entiende qué está pasando; en un momento se encuentra cortando el cuello de la Quinta Menguante, al otro se ve encarado con dos cazadores que tienen un parecido inquietante con sus amigos muertos.

“Hakuji-san!” Rengoku turns to smile at him. “Is there something you w-...anted?” They blink at each other in surprise, as Hakuji pushes the palm of his hand to the flat of Rengoku’s stomach. Solid. Definitely not something Hakuji can punch straight through. He feels Rengoku’s muscles ripple under his fingers, sturdy, warm.
“Oi!” Sabito comes storming. He grabs Hakuji by the back of the head and forces him into a ninety-degree bow. “Have you never heard of personal space?! Who raised you?”
Hakuji cranes his neck to look at him. “Urokodaki did.”Hakuji Soyama lives a different life.
The woman’s eyes are wide and frantic, and Giyuu feels his heart sink.

She regrets having trusted the peach-haired young man, and she would never forget the feeling of betrayal.
The wounds had not yet healed, but then, on a snowy day when clouds covered the sky, she met two young men.
The decision she made was as quick as the blade she wields.
Another decision was made that day.
At the cost of her own humanity.
She knew she had not been wrong in deciding to give the Kamado brothers a chance.
She knew she had not been wrong in taking these brothers in.
She did not know that this decision would bring light to the dark corridors of her home and her own withered heart.
It was the best decision she had ever made in her life.
Things are about to change, but like water, Tomioka Giyuu was ready to adapt. Even when the past comes back to bite.
