Summary
There is a fundamental difference between the consciousness of a person and the body of it. Of what we can observe and only speculate about.
While the body might be flourishing, excelling in many different ways, resting, sleeping, existing,
the mind may not be.
And while that might not seem obvious to anyone viewing it from the outside, the conclusion remains the same:
We are all doomed.
Wait what? I think I skipped a few steps–
Let me start a bit earlier. At a story, two men and a yellow button.
This is a story about a man named Stanley. -

Summary
The familiar deep voice that was always guiding him felt rather strange this time.
It was a bit odd, sometimes shaky and was one to three seconds late compared to his usual speech-speed.Stanley knew perfectly well all the endings and narration that came with them, and he also knew the perfect frames and timings of the Narrator’s voice.
It was really rare when the Narrator would talk about something else than his story and Stanley knew about this.
He himself never talked, or barely, because as stated previously in the Not-Stanley Ending, Stanley had been trained to not talk for the sake of the game, or whatever was it.Stanley knew that well.
The Game was the same all over again, and again, there was no end.
Well the end is never the end.
So, every disturbance in their little (but not so little) ship felt like a knife being twisted back and forth in his insides. That’s why he didn't spare a minute when he heard the Narrator screaming for help, before his world, their whole world went dark.
*
Or, the two of them aren’t supposed to meet, but when files get corrupted, and when everything turns black and scary, everyone needs a little help.
Or just comfort. -

Summary
Narrator wakes up on Earth with no memories and no voice. For some reason the whole no memories thing doesn't bother it as much as the lack of a voice. He misses it dearly. After stumbling through a day as a human, it meets Stanley, who gladly helps him and even lets him live in his house.
Will Narrator get his memories back? Maybe. Will Narrator ever get its voice back? Complicated, somehow. Will he and Stanley fall in love???? I genuinely don't know. I didn't plan most of this out. Will other characters be in this story???? Yeah. At some point.
Rated mature just in case some crazy shit happens.

Summary
This is the story of a man named Stanley, though this particular version needs a different script, because Stanleys usual day did not involve having a psychological break and collapsing on the sidewalk while walking to work. Nor did it include being sent to hospital by his higher up, Mariella, and nor did it include spending a week in a coma. But today did include all these things, and what a shame that was.

Summary
He sat down at the desk again, the thoughts slowly curling on themselves in his mind. Why not? The story didn't have to be about him, he realized after a spark of inspiration flashed and then caught in his mind, like fire catching on the edge of paper before it slowly began to shrivel and then burst into flame.
It wouldn't be about him. Not at all. No one would know.
He straightened himself up, shaking with excitement and nerves, and pecked out the starting words on the screen.
This is a story of a man named Stanley.
