Summary
Tim Drake leads a...mostly normal life, helping people get the best insurance they can afford. Soon though, he finds himself embroiled in a plot that involves Robin trying to take him down, and Batgirl possibly helping. Add to the mix Red Hood using him for information, and a strange young man walking into his office under false pretenses, Tim finds that his mostly normal life is about to completely change.
Tim knew there were worse jobs in Gotham than insurance agent, but he’s hard pressed to think of another at the moment. As he shoots off an email to a client about looking into their claim asap, he hears the glass door to the small insurance office open and watches Stephanie Brown,the goddamn Batgirl, walk into the agency and catch his eye. He puts 'masked vigilante' at the top of the list.

Note: Tim literally spends the entire fic being a damsel in distress like at no point is he a successful mafia boss like it sorta claims he is in the summary to the point where it’s honestly a stretch to even call him one. He’s also not a mafia boss in the way he should be based on his canon attributes which are all but non existent so it comes across more as Tim being ooc.

Because Tim has an old, beat up car stolen from the garage, two backpacks worth of belongings, and a box of cheap face masks, and that is it. He’s left all of his vigilante equipment behind, stored safely in the cave, and he has no intention of going back for it. Going back for any of it really, because Tim loves his family, he really does, but he can’t stand the way they look at him now.
Like he’s something breakable, something they need to wear kid gloves around and treat like glass. Like Tim is another civilian they need to protect.

Summary
Tim was a lonely kid, and there was only so much to do in an empty house filled with everything but the warmth of living bodies. So when his parents bring back an ancient book that they can’t read from one of their expeditions, Tim asks if he can have it. Unlike with the more fragile and expensive artifacts, they decided to humor him without thinking much on it. He very quickly finds out that the book is in fact an occult grimoire. Now, Tim was generally considered very smart for his age, a genius even. But he was still 10, and he was very curious to see if this book was real. One ritual and one demon later he makes a wager, if the demon can beat him at a game of cards he can take his soul, but if Tim wins then he gets 5 extra years of life. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and the demons at least provided him some entertainment. Now Tim is 17. He’s been 17 for a long time, not that anyone seems to notice his lack of aging.

Tim was a lonely kid left in a house of artifacts. So when he finds a book that can summon demons, he decides to give it a try. Somehow this leads to him becoming practically immortal and John Constantine's apprentice, all without the Bats knowing.

When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.
Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.
(And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)
