Todoroki was a prince and after Bakugou and him met Todoroki decided to take him back to his homeland, things get a bit more complicated when you throw in quirk marriages for Shoto and murder plots against king Endevour. Katsuki begins to think if he made the right choice coming here, after all why risk your life for a world that's not even yours?

Summary
Nunca tinham se apaixonado, não daquela forma tão intensa. Namorados desde a escola, Shouto e Katsuki precisaram se separar e morar longe devido a faculdade. Todoroki estava se sentindo pressionado em ter algo "concreto" na visão dos familiares e ainda havia a saudade do namorado. When Bakugou Katsuki hears about Second Life, the latest and most realistic VR MMORPG on the market, he doesn’t need much convincing from his roommate and partner, Todoroki Shouto, to purchase the necessary equipment to play it. It looks fairly promising anyway, with its fantasy elements and open-world layout, and he’s all fired up to stream his attempt at the game.
Or, at least, until things begin going wrong right from the get-go.
…Katsuki is never, ever trusting Shouto with any of his gaming accounts or recommendations again.

Captain Todoroki Shouto’s world is a bleak one, thanks to years of human greed and ignorance that everyone’s desperately scrambling to reverse. He has it a little better than most, with his small but noticeable prestige in the army and his university degree, but… it’s not a pleasant life. Functional, perhaps, but not pleasant.
So when Todoroki is transferred from his unit to a hush-hush government facility, he doesn’t really expect much. Perhaps he’ll be stuck as a bodyguard for someone, or he’ll be guarding national secrets.
What his job entails turns out to be far less innocent than that, though.

Bakugou Katsuki has been putting off his mandatory ethics course—it’s a requirement for his sociology degree, but he’d taken one look at the course coordinator’s name and decided he’d rather not. It’s his last semester, though, and he can’t delay it any longer if he wants to graduate on time… so he resigns himself to a semester of awkwardness and finally, finally signs himself up for it.
But it’s not the course coordinator who pisses him off to no end, even though he’s pretty annoying too. It’s the TA—a lousy slob that looks the furthest thing from professional or ethical—that makes Bakugou’s blood boil.
He’d like to say it’s completely from anger. He’d really like it if all he felt was antagonistic loathing for Todoroki Shouto.
Except the semester plods on, and Bakugou learns more than just ethics underneath Todoroki.

It’s been almost a year since Bakugou Katsuki was first assigned to the serial killer’s case—they have no name for the criminal, because the murders are varied and always, always horrific. It’s been almost a year of fruitless searching, interviews that lead nowhere and more body parts turning up here and there, and Katsuki’s almost at his wit’s end.
So when they receive a tip that might lead to a breakthrough, it’s all Katsuki can do to assist however he can. The killings have gone on long enough, and it’s time to put an end to all the murders and disappearances.
If asked what the worst outcome could be for the case, Katsuki would’ve said something along the lines of an improper arrest, the true culprit escaping justice while a scapegoat takes the fall.
But there are worse things still than justice perverted.
