Summary
Orthorin Dawncaller and his new company of the Alliance Army have just undergone an inspection by the Marshal who clearly dislikes the captain and his lieutenant. Following the evaluation they are offered a new deployment: to the Shadowlands. Now, the monk needs to answer the question if he and his company are ready for the challenge or if it would be wiser to decline. But not even the whispers of the Void that chip in on his decision seem agreed.

Summary
Since the rather catastrophic defense duty in Maldraxxus, Captain Orthorin Dawncaller has adjusted his soldiers' plan of action a lot. Nonetheless their remaining duties pose some challenges. Returning from one such, the monk learns that one of his soldiers has most-likely got himself into trouble. Orthorin knows of course that he can’t risk himself or other soldiers for the sake of one foolhardy companion, but eventually he has no other choice. Will he be able to safe his soldier’s life or will everything take a turn for the worse?

Summary
Orthorin Dawncaller has accepted Lord Commander Turalyon’s offer to become the captain of a new special unit of the Alliance military, but his swearing in only marks the beginning of the work necessary to form an actual company from scratch. Luckily he gets the support of not only his brothers but also his friends. The future of his new company isn’t the only thing on the void elf’s mind, though, there are also his persistent feelings for the night elf mage Elarynn. In both regards, the founding celebration of the new company has a few surprises in store for the usually stoic monk.
