Summary
Here’s a little something for you. I originally planned this as one of the prologue chapters for my TWW stories, but since it also works as a stand-alone one-shot and fits the current pre-Midnight mood, I wanted to post it early as its own fic.
This story takes you through Silvermoon sometime after Fyrakk’s defeat in the Emerald Dream and before the fall of Dalaran. We follow Farodan, a blood elf Monk, as he explores some of the city’s darker corners. He isn’t one of the shining leaders we’ll be seeing in Midnight - Lor’themar, Liadrin, or Arator - nor one of the nobles drifting through Saltheril’s parties, just an ordinary elf trying to survive in the city. These are the people and places I want to bring to your attention before we’re all dazzled and awed by running around in a rebuilt and revamped Silvermoon once Midnight launches.
I hope you enjoy this bittersweet little treat.

Summary
Not long ago still a happy family of five, the twins Saewron and Orthorin lose their father and older brother Inean to the invasion of the Burning Legion. During their brother's funeral they learn strange things from the guests. Following these clues, they end up in the Telogrus Rift just as the Nether Prince Durzaan attacks. The twins, who have been transformed into void elves and are now members of the Alliance, must reinvent themselves, made all the more difficult by the death of their mother, the whispers of the Void and their estrangement from each other.
Meanwhile, at the funeral of the fallen Warchief Vol'jin, Levaindil has encountered a ghost from the past: a friend she thought dead after he left Quel'Thalas with the Sunfury returns, but changed by his choices in the past.
