This is a little rewrite of the battle scene between Jay and Cole in season 4 A.K.A Tournament of Elements A.K.A the season after the one where the writers had so little idea of what to do with Cole they put him in a “love triangle” that made no sense but made great shipping fodder, then continued over to the next season because they forgot to resolve the shitty subplot. This particular battle scene really irked me with the way things were resolved so I decided to make things a lot gayer and made an actual love triangle ((Sort of, Cole was never actually interested in Nya and the show confirmed that but it sure seemed like it for a while, they never bothered to give him a motivation for doing that so I’m just gonna say he wanted more of Jay’s attention.)) To be clear I switched up a lot of dialogue and some of the combat so it flowed a little better and so it wasn’t written so stiffly.

An old enemy reborn, or someone pretending to be him. Graffiti that can't be photographed by normal means. Bartenders disappearing without a trace. John Constantine is also there.
Danny wants nothing to do with any of it. He just wants to sell burgers and survive. Actually, he'd like to go home again, but since that isn't possible, he'll stick with burgers.
Gotham's vigilante's have other plans.
This is why Danny doesn't do favors.
