Summary
After the death of her son, Agatha Harkness falls into grief. Forced to go back into work seven months later, she must grapple with the world moving on without her child. Soon she meets new professor Rio Vidal, a woman who she has no intention of becoming friends with and yet somehow forms a bond. Told through letters to her son and through her experiences as the year unfolds, Agatha must not only learn how to live with her son no longer being there, but also her slow decent into falling in love at the wrong time.
