Whump, bromance, drama, angst caregiving, and hurt/comfort.
Tony, Steve, Clint, and Bruce get hurt in one way or another, and then take care of each other. There's usually a plot, but sometimes they're whumped for the sake of whump.
The stories start with Whumptober prompts from 2019, and continue during Whumptober 2020!
Examples:
Ch 1: Tony overdoses on caffeine.
Ch 7: Bruce and Tony get buried alive.
Ch 14: Steve and Tony get caught under a collapsed building.
Ch 18: HYDRA catches the boys. They better be good, for Natasha's sake.

The general of the Minutemen and second in command at the Railroad, Danai, and the new leader of the Brotherhood and operative of the Institute, James. The territory lines are respected, the soldiers don't kill each other, and the two big players meet regularly on Jame's home turf as a sign of trust and peace. It had been going so fine for so long, she really thought that they would be okay for the long run. But as all good things do, it has to come to an end. Danai just wishes that it didn't happen like this.

“What a dick.”
Peter turned his head, wincing when brilliant pain struck his skull like an ice pick being shoved into it. He squeezed his eyes shut and held his head still, waiting for the pain to stop before he opened them again. When he did, he followed the voice. With the man gone, Peter could clearly see the other captive: a teenage boy with sandy brown hair who was across the room with his hands chained to a radiator in front of him --- in front of him, not above his head like Peter’s hands were.
He looked Peter’s age and ordinary enough, but ordinary tended to stop applying to people who were kidnapped.

The vibranium cuffs that were locked around his wrists wouldn’t budge. And it didn’t matter how much the young vigilante pulled, he still couldn't free himself. He was stuck, hanging by his arms, in a construction site that was crumbling around him. His feet swung in the open air and Peter had no clue if he was a few inches from the ground, or a few yards.
