“That’s funny.” Kaitlyn started. Ryan looked up at her with a confused look. “The first thing he told me when we got out of the lodge was ‘I hope Ryan’s okay.’ I’m just saying it’s funny that we just survived a werewolf attack and you just immediately think of each other.”
A blush spread across Ryan’s cheeks, and his eyes quickly darted down once more. “He’s my friend.”
Kaitlyn raised an eyebrow, a small impish grin across her face. It was a look that certainly meant, ‘I’m up to something’.
