Summary
Both of them were surprised when Dennis picked emergency medicine as his specialty last year, but equally relieved when he matched with PTMC. Calling him a great addition to the team is putting it lightly. He’s good with people on a personal level; warm and caring in a way that some doctors lose over time. Every morning he’s the first one here and one of the last ones to leave at night.
Seeing him struggle even slightly is new.
“Definitely odd… Go home, Jack.” Robby insists, knocking his knuckles against Jack’s shoulder. “I’ll keep tabs on him.”
While doing some charting of his own, he watches Dennis mosey over to one of the free desks and settle slowly into the rolling chair below him. He kicks his left leg out in front of him, balancing his heel against the ground at a strange angle.
The sigh Dennis lets out sounds too rough for Robby's liking.
