Haven't managed to finish the whole series at this point because there is so much but I needed at least this fic bookmarked awawa. From what I've read, other stuff in this series is great too yay
But this instalment, being the first and main one, is very very good. Never manages to go quite how you'd expect, it can be very creative and fun in its story and setting. Stan is cursed into being stuck as a cat with no easy means of communication, and Ford adopts him without knowing who he is. Follows Ford through constructing the portal with Fidds, includes experimenting with the shapeshifter, and continues to things going awry with Bill. The concept is comedic and the fic certainly follows through with some goofiness but the plot also takes itself seriously and gets quite heavy at times- good mix -
