Emilia was one of those, a orphan turned merc with a lot of unresolved trauma that she filed away for later, because really, she didn't have time to worry about it, not when she had to worry about who was going to try to kill her every day.
But even when all seems hopeless, Emilia is proof that humans are unreasonably stubborn... and great at hiding from eachother.
