“How did I get here?” were the first thoughts that went through the head of Kai Smith.
He stared up at a semi-cloudy sky, wind breezing through his ungelled bangs. Last he recalled… Wait, what did happen last? The only thing he recalled was doing training with Lloyd.. wait. Where is Lloyd? For that matter, Where was everyone?! Did they seriously get split up again? Focus Kai. For now he needed to figure out where he was and how to find the others.
Kai scanned over the roof he woke up on.. This was not Ninjago City. Or anywhere relative to it that he knew of.. Great. So he's lost, separated from his team, and possibly concussed based off the lack of a memory on how he got here. “This is just fantastic..” Kai huffed out sarcastically.

“I could call the others”, Jay reflected for a moment, for the first time in the whole situation. He could shout and they'd come running immediately, he believed. Or maybe they'd think he was overreacting and give him enough time to handle it on his own. Maybe he could. He already longed to step forward, even if it was just to see what this was all about, if this was really happening and not just some kind of dream after the blow to the head.
“It’ll just be a glimpse", Jay told himself, without much conviction. The temptation, the curiosity, something bigger than himself that tingled through his body, were more overwhelming.
He didn't know why he was doing this.
