All eyes in the room are back on him, and he can hear a snicker from somewhere down the room. Vox turns to glare at Zeezi, who only snickers louder.
When Vox tries to focus back on what Carmilla is saying, she stares at him flatly again. "Perhaps if you feel the urge to groom your… partner," she decides on tactfully, "a different location would be appropriate, like perhaps a nest," she says pointedly.
"Why, of course, I groomed Vox before he left our nest this morning. I would never let him walk around unscented," Vox can feel Alastor's nose scrunching up against his neck in offense. "But now it's time for his afternoon grooming."
"Good fucking luck getting him to stop," Vox says with a sigh.
