“If I’m your fake boyfriend in front of your mom you have to be my fake boyfriend at a private event.” Kirishima’s tone was playful, but non-negotiable. That had never stopped Katsuki before.
“What the fuck kind of ‘private event’ are you talking about?” Katsuki asked.
“A hero’s retreat. Fatgum paid for his agency and some other pros to go, but it’s couples only. He had to split the agency in half so it wasn’t left unstaffed, but he said that I could go with the top pros if I brought a date with me.”
Katsuki held eye contact with Kirishima for a moment. Kirishima didn't even blink. Bakugou wasn’t used to the man being so… stubborn? “Fine.” Before Kirishima could celebrate. “I’ll think about it.”
