Eddie Munson is by all accounts, a freak. He's also a wanted man. While climbing through the gate in his trailer at the end of episode seven, an unknown yet cataclysmic event drops into Raccoon City in September 1998 — twelve years in his future — right in the middle of a zombie outbreak. Disoriented, armed with nothing, and very much out of his depth, he crosses paths with Claire Redfield, who has ridden into the dying city looking for her missing brother Chris.
The two team up to survive, working their way through the Raccoon City Police Department — scavenging weapons, navigating the building's bizarre layout, and dealing with the infected at every turn. Along the way, a growing connection between them takes place, mostly through close quarters, small moments, and the two of them figuring out (stupidly slow yet also fast given the timeline of events in RE2) that they can rely on each other.Series

After months of sleeping at Eddie's headstone on and off, Steve is wounded while fighting the mind flayer's Demogorgon spawn with the kids. As he goes to Eddie's grave to wait for his death, He is met with the shock of a lifetime.
(TW- mentions of: Steve was probably being harassed physically, emotionally, and sexually by both Billy/Jason (more by Jason, I don't think Billy would have touched him, he actually seems like more of a follower than a leader. He seemed to be the one always searching for validation, especially from adults. In my writing, He never touches Steve like that, but he is physically aggressive as a sort of outlet.) after they found out that he was sleeping with Eddie while on the basketball team, and that's why he stopped playing in season 2. I know people like Jason, but I think he's an insidious, abusive douchebag that they did not explore as a character because he was padded by being good-looking. Chrissy deserved a better boyfriend. Diving into Billy Hargrove, I think he was incredibly traumatized, and also a bad person who did bad things. He was bad, but I think he was a more complex character than Jason. I believe he was abusive in the same way he was abused, and was probably closeted. -

Steve scrunches his eyebrows, and Eddie holds the lighter up in front of him, then flicks his eyes down to the cigarette Steve is holding between his fingers. He slowly pulls his hand up to his face, and gently places it between his lips. Eddie leans over and lights it for him. Steve keeps staring at him, even close up. It’s bizarre.

“What, with you?” Billy scoffs. He takes his turn with the joint and looks at Eddie like he’s being ridiculous. “This isn’t cheating. We’ve never kissed and we’ve never even actually fucked. It doesn’t count.”
“So he doesn’t know,” Eddie confirms.
“Of course he doesn’t. And he never will.” Billy’s smile is cold and doesn’t reach his eyes, which hold behind them an unmistakable threat: or else. His humorless laugh is even colder. “He doesn’t even know I buy from you, Munson. I keep your filthy name as far away from mine as possible. That was the deal, wasn’t it?”
