Severus stood a few paces before her. His eyes were on the ruined cauldron.
"Tell me," his voice shook, and tears formed in his eyes, "why do you wear flowers in your hair?"
He kept looking to his cauldron.
"I don't understand."
"How does such a simple ritual bring you happiness? Why are you always---" he stepped closer to her, "so---" by her elbows, he gently held her to him, "---happy?"
A droplet escaped from his eye, splashing on the floor between them. He gazed his vulnerability into her eyes, his dark tresses brushing his chin.
"Tell me, do you believe in shifting reality?"
Severus's hooked nose brushed against hers. He repeated his response from last year. "I do not believe in miracles."

Post-war AU - Snape survived the war. OC is a muggle woman (yes!) teaching Muggle Studies at Hogwarts; she meets our favorite snarky Potions Master and, together, they must face a new threat to the entire humanity. Even though the story is not written on the first or second person POV, all her physicall atributes are left open to the imagination so you can simply picture yourself right there if you'd like.
There's a lot of romance and action, but it's mostly a lotta sex... after we get over the mutual pining bit. There will be magical birth control and safe sex, and of course it will be hot. The sex will get seriously kinky, though, be warned. Please let me know if you think there's something missing from my tags.
This is my first fic. And it's complete. <3
It started out as a jungian exercise of active imagination... halfway through it, I went to pinterest for inspiration and it led me here and I fell in love with you all. Takes place in the 90's like the movies (I'd like to think 1996 or 1997), but some character time-canon things are tweaked, so it's not strictly canon-compliant (Draco is not at Hogwarts yet/Weasley twins are in their third year). I write her being 20-21 in mind, but feel free to self-insert a different age. Reader is a 7th-year student who transferred in her 5th year. Snape being Draco's godfather fanon trope included. Malfoy family is a little OOC (not blood supremacists.)

Although. . . no one knew who you were. What your birth family was from. Or your blood purity. So, since there was no proof you weren't a pureblood, or a blood traitor, the Death Eaters decided to let you in to their ranks. You weren't given a dark mark, thankfully. But you were given the same gruesome tasks. Tasks you completed without care. Or not?
Eventually, time goes on and your interest in a certain death eater rises, Snape. Your old Professor. You were in Hogwarts five, six years ago. Now you were fully grown and your past admiration for him grows. Does romance blossom? That's for the author to know and YOU to find out.
Also the Once Upon a Time and Chilling adventures of Sabrina part is only briefly mentioned here and there throughout one of the characters backstories. That's it.
