Summary
There is a jaunty little ping, just as Andy takes a breath to speak and start the meeting. All three of his colleagues reach for their smartphones, previously resting on the table. To Andy’s surprise it’s James who mumbles an apology as he apparently switches off the notification tone.
Jeremy placidly watches them over the rims of his glasses as Hammond tuts cheekily, but that’s the last interruption before Andy launches into his introduction. Historically, he’s always been the one best prepared for a meeting, and his three stooges gladly leave the job to him.
