It was kind of funny to park in her spot, plus it was the closest to the front of the school, and he always got there before her. Her shriek every day was music to his ears, and it made him cackle when her friends came up to him to try and get him to understand how ‘totally pissed off’ she was. It didn’t matter if she was shitting herself- it was funny, and Rodrick loved chaos.
“Come on, blondie,” he called as her screech came from the tiny pink convertible behind his van. “If you didn’t stop for coffee, you’d probably be parked by now.”
The sound of a plastic cup hitting the back of his van had him turning. Iced coffee dripped down the back doors of his van while Regina sat back in her car, a smug grin on her face, “Expect worse if you don’t move.”

Or, Draco slowly gets his life back together after sitting around in Azkaban for a few months. He wasn't exactly expecting to be freed, or to live for that matter. Forgive him if he takes a while to get used to the idea, for not letting his friends know that he is, in fact, alive. For not getting in contact with his mother, for not immediately dealing with a wretched bonding curse, his inconsistent mental health, and, of course, not issuing any apologizes after the war.
The latter certainly would've helped him when Hermione infects his house with one Harry Potter.
Featuring a sassy, plant-loving house elf, Kingsley as everyone's favorite father figure, gossipy shop owners, Draco completely unsure of how he's supposed to deal with a heart broken Harry, Pansy on the verge of several murders, Hermione as a Ministry Mind Healer (read, the one who decides who the Ministry hires), an over emotional Theo, Blaise as the lovely wine aunt, Ron just trying to be a Good Dad, and a weird relationship with the ocean of all things.

He’d expected Malfoy to be doing something like brewing an illegal potion (if those even existed) or sending secret coded messages to his evil family.
What he did not expect- the furthest thing from any of his wild imaginings- was to find Malfoy curled into himself, with his knees against his chest, resting his head against the cool tiled wall, with blood dripping from both forearms. Harry never expected to find the Malfoy heir crying - no, sobbing- alone, in the bathroom, in the dead of night.
