' Savior lowers the pen they had pointed down to the paper, still resting in their hand. She can hear the sigh. “No, Kyle. I do not have a ‘crush’ on Invisibitch.” His fucking name is Kyle? She's not calling him Kyle.
Toxic is grinning again, crossing his legs hanging off the desk. “Okay Robert Robertson.” What. “Not like you can get pussy anyway. You go out for drinks on the first date and you’re suddenly talking about your dead father.” '
Invisibitch snoops around and sees something she doesn't expect. Doesn't mean she won't watch.

Summary
The first Mecha Man to grace L.A. was titled Mecha Man Prime, being the first in the legacy of non-powered humans to make a difference as a hero. The second Mecha Man named himself Astral and made his debut in L.A. as the leader of a group of heroes.
Robert was supposed to be the third Mecha Man. His father would have wanted that for him, but disappointing his father isn't new to him anyway.
In Robert's defense, he had a very valid crash out after his dad was murdered a decade ago. In his opinion, this leads to his very reasonable agenda of hunting down the man who murdered him. It sucks, because it's his target is beloved by the entire damn State.
L.A.'s third Mecha Man, Elliot Connors.
(OR: Robert Robertson is L.A.'s worst supervillain, hunting down the newly retired Mecha Man one dispatch call at a time.)
