Pierre is to translate Madame de la Fayette's novel 'La Princesse de Cleves' from French to English as his next project. But what happens when Pierre's translation turns into rewriting the novel. Will Marie be able to preserve the authenticity of the novel. And is her new friendship with the novel's author something more.Pierre and Marie are both my own characters but Madame de la Fayette is a real French author, one of her most famous books being 'La Princesse de Cleves'.
Told from both Pierre and Marie's POV (Marie is my favourite).

Summary
When Jake is traded to the Bills at the start of the season, Bradley faces the loss of one of his best targets downfield and his best friend 7 hours out of reach. This would be hard enough as it is, except Bradley is also hit with the realization he's been in love with Jake and is a complete fool about the whole ordeal.
Jake fell first. Bradley fell harder, with the cataclysmic drama only a NFL starting quarterback could be capable of.

“No we’re not,” Bradley snorts, slipping his fingers under Jake’s belt and pulling him in between his legs. “I don’t think that us fighting for the first sixteen year of knowing each other counts as being sweethearts.”
“Not this dumb argument again Bradshaw,” Jake complains, rolling his eyes, but happily settles in Bradley’s hold.
