Summary

Summary
Blitzø is the suspicious, wealthy owner of a sugarcane plantation where too many accidental deaths are happening, even extending to disappearances in the town. He’s a shady man with a shady, dangerous dog, Loona. The local townspeople believe the family’s pet is a manifestation of the devil: El Familiar, a hellhound, whom his owner has to pay every year with human flesh and souls to keep his millionaire business running smoothly.
The police officer in town doesn’t believe in folk tales. With deaths piling up and no proof of having a mass murderer on his hands, Striker calls reinforcements and truly gets onto Blitzø’s case. From today onwards, Blitzø has to welcome Stolas, a posh investigator from the capital who’s getting too meddlesome for his tastes. What a pity, he kinda liked the tall, sexy man.

Blitzø is a disheveled, rule-breaking imp cop with a sharp tongue and a knack for solving cases through sheer chaos and instinct. He is a loose cannon, but his methods get results. Stolas, a sheltered and overly formal royal demon, is brought in as a consultant for a high-profile case involving stolen magical artifacts. Stolas' prim demeanor and constant corrections immediately annoy Blitzø, while Stolas is both fascinated and horrified by Blitzø's reckless behavior.
As they work together, Blitzø’s chaotic energy clashes with Stolas' meticulous, by-the-book approach. However, Blitzø begins to notice that Stolas isn’t just a stuffy rich guy—he is deeply lonely and yearns for adventure. Stolas starts to admire Blitzø’s raw passion and dedication to justice, even if it is messy. Their arguments slowly turn into playful banter, and they develop an unexpected camaraderie… leaving room for something more to bloom.
(Heavy divergence from canon Policemen AU—inspired by the 2025 Valentine’s official merch. I.M.P. never happened; Blitzø’s path in life got him into the Slothian police force. All other secondary characters or key plot events from canon are still present, but adapted to the AU’s setting)

Blitzø was so done with the rats, and the general 'condemned-building chic' of their new hellhole apartment he and the I.M.P. team got stuck at after a failed mission. Thank god the damn rat-catcher showed up on time! But something weird was happening with this Stolas human guy. So, he and the team decided to sneak around and peek when he was alone working in the basement… BYNGO! Now they had an easy way out of this mess, out of Earth and finally back to Hell.

She leans in a little and punches his shoulder lightly--or, lightly for her, which is to say that it hurts like a bitch and Blitz has been punched with less force by full career assassins who were actively trying to kill him. Blitzø should’ve known throwing fucking bread crumbs wouldn’t be good enough to lead him back home. Of course some birds or squirrels or something were gonna eat them, and of course he was gonna be stuck out here in this stupid fucking forest and die just like his stupid fucking Dad wanted. ...Or that's what he thought before he, luckily, found a house made entirely of cheese and hot sauce. However, unluckily, it belonged to the evil slutty witch he'd heard so much about.
The rumors about him started up about a year ago, and warned that although he seemed sweet, he would try to trick you into touching him. If you made the mistake of doing so, he’d eat you alive. Blitzø used to think it was all bullshit, but many people had said they’d seen the witch, and they all agreed that he was unusually friendly and seemed particularly desperate. And this owl seemed unusually friendly and particularly desperate.
So as long as he didn’t touch him, then, it should be fine.

Blitzø, a homicide detective, gets a frantic call from his friend Moxxie, a crime scene investigator, regarding the mysterious murder of Emberlynn Pinkle. Her live-in boyfriend claims that he doesn't remember dating her and has an active restraining order against her. Further mystifying Moxxie, her wounds seem more like animal wounds than human. Things get more complicated when another victim is found and the clues don't add up. Can Blitzø find the culprit in time to stop the murders?

"Wh—hey!" Stolas yelps, watching as Blitzø takes a long gulp of his drink.
"Hmm, that's not half bad," he says, sliding the empty glass down the bar toward Husk. "What? I can get you another one," he says as Stolas stares from him to the empty glass.
"I—that is hardly—you have your own!" Stolas stammers, gesturing at Blitzø's glass.
"Yeah, it's empty. See?" Blitzø holds up the empty glass for inspection. "You want to try one of mine, or you want more of whatever Husk mixed special for you?" He wiggles his eyebrows again, for emphasis.
Stolas can't stop thinking about the fact that Blitzø's mouth was on the same glass that his was on, and he doesn't seem to care at all. Stolas, on the other hand, is having a very hard time thinking about anything else.
