Summary
This five-part series is a Kakashi-centric time travel fix-it. It starts out pretty dark, but the real heart of the story is one of healing, and there are happy endings on the horizon. Specific warnings are included with each chapter.
Each story has its own arc and is complete in itself, but I recommend starting from the first story and reading through chronologically; the series is meant to be taken as a whole. Hope you enjoy!

Summary
The crux of the matter is that Kakashi’s old. By the time he finally gives up the hat, he’s nearly forty and growing older, and while he’s faced death too many times to still remember to fear it, he certainly thinks about it. He can’t help it. He blames the Nidaime — staring at Senju Tobirama’s reanimated face reminds Kakashi of everything that will die with him: his clan, their history, an entire generation. The realization leaves him unsettled, and as his body starts to ache more and more, he finds himself wishing for a world in which he isn’t so alone.
Or, Kakashi returns to the Hatake compound in an attempt to speak with his ancestors and promptly forgets that the Hiraishin is, above all else, an experimental time/space jutsu. By activating it, he finds himself in a world not quite like his own.

The man sitting at the desk is stony-faced as he doles out assignments. Sakura obediently shuffles forward when it is her turn, and recites her shinobi identification number in a shaky voice when asked.
When the provost marshal looks at her, looks down at his paper, looks back at her, and grimaces, Sakura knows it’s not going to be good.

Summary
He leaves the compound full of emotionless tools and dark secrets and enters the fresh, crisp night air. He instead thinks of loud students and running dogs and a future that he never wanted to let go but somehow slipped away.
His feet involuntarily take him to a home that does not yet truly exist. Its foundation is there, but the one who makes the house a home is years yet to come.
He touches down lightly on the pavement of the street and realizes that the future might be closer than he initially anticipated.
Kakashi stands there, younger than Tenzō ever knew him. There’s no scar over his eye or Hokage hat on his head, but his eyes tell the story of more loss and grief and war than one could undergo in a dozen years.
Kakashi freezes and looks at him with enough recognition that Tenzō’s breath catches.
“Tenzō?” The silver-haired boy whispers, his eyes looking past the cold porcelain to look at the boy underneath in a way that only one person in his life ever could.
(Or, Kakashi and Tenzō both somehow accidentally time travel to the past separately. They mourn for what they left behind, only to then realize that what they really missed came with them.)

Summary
Hatake Kakashi has been pulled off of ANBU duty to become a jonin teacher. In effort to keep himself at least somewhat entertained as well as to prevent from having to put too much effort into training his genin, he informs them that a jutsu he made up on the spot is too difficult for them to preform and has them practice until he deems them ready. Meanwhile, Team 7 begins taking after Kakashi, and that includes being interested in this jutsu of his as well.
AKA: Kakashi ends up training his team by trying to not train them, the Leaf Village is convinced Kakashi's making mini-Kakashis out of his students, and enemy nin become scarred for life.

So it doesn't take her long after being placed on the powder keg that is Team Seven to realize she is going to die.
