"Okay, hear me out," Buck said while peeling his orange. The juice spraying as he split the fruit. "What if we skipped the whole touching you with my hands hangup you have? You could use my thighs instead."
"Are you suggesting that I should fuck your legs?" Eddie asked as he stared at the orange juice residue glistening on Buck's palm. Watching the way Buck chose to lick it off his hand. His tongue thoroughly lapping at his skin when he could have just wiped it against his jeans as anyone else might have.
"Or vice versa. Whatever you're comfortable with." Buck shrugged.
The simplicity had unnerved Eddie more than the proposal. Buck treated intimacy like assembling flat-pack furniture. Just follow the damn instructions and bam! You had a dime a dozen desk that did the job, but couldn't make you work.

Buck and Eddie never meant to have a child together. Really.
It wasn’t planned and it wasn’t even a choice, more an act of survival than desire. But after one heat and an emergency that left them with only one option, they’re now raising a little girl as best friends who never, ever talk about what happened.

Behind him, Bobby is chiming in about Station Six wanting him and that he likes to be called “Eight Pack” but all Buck can focus on is the completely unmistakable spiritual flare of an unbonded Sentinel coming off the guy.
