The tick of Eddie's eyebrows. The twitching of his mouth. Even when he didn't think he was being expressive, he was.
This man was quickly becoming one of Buck's favorite things to watch. His favorite person. His -
"They even have dance moves!" Eddie looked awed as Maddie and Chimney did their routine. Buck could admit, he was jealous of his sister. He wanted that with someone.
He glanced at them on the stage but his gaze didn't stray from Eddie for long. Eddie could be that someone.
Well -
Maybe not in karaoke.
OR: While Buck is Chris's teacher, he and Eddie have to remain strictly friends. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

The man's cheeks went pink again. "Right! Right, uh. Sorry. Eddie. My name's Eddie."
"Eddie, huh? What's that short for? Eduardo?" Buck took a few steps closer. Eddie was practically in arms reach now.
He huffed a laugh, shaking his head. "Everyone guesses that but no. It's actually -"
"Wait, wait, let me guess." He pretended to think hard about it, face scrunching up in thought. It got a laugh out of Eddie, which had Buck feeling like he won something. "Edgar."
When Eddie's eyes crinkled with his happy grin, rosy cheeks framing them -
Buck knew it was going to live rent free in his head.

Buck would not be weird about this, either.
"I compliment you."
That - was not the thing to say.
"I compliment you all the time. I can do it more, if you want."
Why was he doubling down? He needed to stop talking.
Eddie finally looked at him, expression a touch confused. With something else to it Buck couldn't decipher. Hen looked unimpressed. Ravi looked like he wanted to let out a long, tired sigh.
Which really wasn't that unusual a look for him, where Buck was concerned.
Or: Eddie comes out as gay and gets a date. Buck is completely normal about it.

There was a noticeable pause. Buck turned slowly to Eddie, clearly caught off guard by the question. "Huh?"
"How many times did you fuck him?" He repeated slowly. A little meanly. "How many times did you fuck him in my bed?"
OR: Eddie finds out about Buck and Tommy's hookup and acts completely normal about it. As any platonic best friend would really.

Summary
