After Tom takes Greg out to teach him how to be rich, Greg decides to return the favor and give Tom a tour of how to be poor in the city via St. Mark's. A series of mishaps, of course, inevitably occur.

Tom scoffed, “I’m not fucking crawling on the dirty subway floor. First of all, the suit is dry-clean only. Second of all, I’m not a goddamn dog or toddler. I’m a grown, successful man. And I’m going to hop the turnstile like a man would.”
Gripping the sides of the turnstile with unsure hands, he began to hoist himself over. For a few seconds, he really felt like one of those cool NYU artsy kids he had always secretly been jealous of. That was, of course, before his foot got stuck on the last bar, and he face planted onto the subway floor (more commonly known as a pile of germs, chewed gum, and every single person in the city’s dirty footprints since probably the 19-fucking-40s).
The MTA employee just shook his head with a disappointed look from his box, and a girl leaning on the tiled walls side-eyed them and loudly popped her gum.

Summary
"You...Are Emrys?" Arthur asked slowly. He turned to look back at Merlin who only offered a bright smile in return. It wasn't comforting. In fact, Arthur was fairly certain it was the same smile he gave when he returned Arthur's dirty laundry and tried to insist he washed it.
"I am." The man nodded solemnly "Though you may call me Alator."
Arthur had to fight to keep his face completely blank. Right. Fine. Okay. He held up a finger before gesturing Mordred a bit closer. The knight shuffled to his side, leaning in so he could hear when Arthur started whispering.
"What did this prophecy you keep mentioning say again?" He asked and when Mordred opened his mouth, held up a hand. "About me and Emrys."
"Oh," Mordred said and shrugged "You fall in love with him."
Arthur slowly turned back to Alator. Then back to Mordred.
"...are you sure?"
Or
Alator lives. This sets off a series of events that include: Mordred coming forward as a druid, Arthur learning of the existence of Emrys, Merlin asking Alator to please pretend to be Emrys, Alator agreeing, and Mordred deciding the best revenge is convincing Arthur that he is destined to fall in love with a man older than his father.

Summary
When the King is attacked in his tent on patrol and falls into an unending sleep everyone is worried. What they don't know is that Arthur is fine. In fact he is standing right here next to them, watching them all fret over his prone body. To stave off the boredom whilst a cure is found Arthur takes to wandering the castle and soon discovered a hidden side of Camelot he never knew about.
Or: Arthur's soul gets trapped outside his body and takes to following his servant around. He gets an interesting insight into Merlin, his servant's life and just how much Camelot needs the man.
