Summary
It’s not like he hoards food or snaps whenever someone asks him about his eating habits. It’s not like he skips meals or picks at his food in a way that makes it look like he’s eaten a good portion when he hasn’t. It’s not like he stares at his reflection every morning or thinks of himself as overweight. He doesn’t think he has much body issues, either.
Sure, it sometimes feels like he’s been pieced together all wrong, a tightness in the back of his throat whenever he steps onto a scale, something rattling in the back of his mind like a skeleton waiting to burst out of his skin—but that’s normal, isn’t it?
His body isn’t used to a quirk, after all. There’s an adjustment period he’s experiencing ten years too late. He’s barely passed the starting line while everyone else coasts ahead, leaving him to stumble as he tries to catch up.
It starts when All Might hands him a diet regime.

The hero continues to put on his costume oblivious to Izuku's inner spiral of wondering if he had really forgotten about what had transpired minutes before (or if he just didn't give a damn)."

All Shouta wants to do is protect his kid from everything. He knows he's not doing a great job, but Izuku knows Shouta will do everything he can for him....Izuku does know that Shouta will always be there for him right?
