Summary

Details fell together rapidly- the black and white streaked hair, mostly stained with what Julian hoped was dirt, ripped clothes and some of what he had to admit was blood, the forearm tattoo of what looked like a halo... He drew a knife instinctively as the man raised his head and Julian found himself staring down into the pained, half-desperate eyes of Eclipse.
“I’m- I didn’t have any other option. Please.” A full body shudder seemed to pass through Eclipse as he reached out a hand. Blood was flowing freely from a gash above his eye, and the remnants of his shirt seemed to cover a dozen wounds more.
Julian dropped the knife to the floor, forgotten. Oh fuck.
Julian knows that when you get the chance to take out a villain of Eclipse's rank, you take it, honor be damned. So when Eclipse shows up at Julian's door looking more than mostly already dead, it isn't hard to know he should finish the job and call it a win. But Julian doesn't, and now neither of them really know what happens next
