    Vox just wanted to see his old friend and find out where he had been all these years. He definitely didn't want to piss off his patroness, return to his pathetic little body, lose influence in his own company, and just be in this pathetic hotel.
    Alastor just wanted to get rid of his chain and gain more power and freedom. He definitely didn't want to lose everything and be dragged into some kind of holy war.
    Charlie just wanted to help her people and get her parents' approval. She definitely didn't want to find out more about herself and her guests.
    Vaggie just wanted to protect Charlie. She definitely didn't want to become a babysitter for her girlfriend.
    Angel just wanted a cheap bed. He definitely didn't want to face responsibility for his actions and live with sick bastards, one of whom was Valentino's business partner.
    Husk just wanted to get drunk. He definitely didn't want to become a psychologist for a bunch of emotionally immature people, including Alastor.
    Velvette just wanted Vox to leave them alone and let her move on. She definitely didn't want to face the consequences of the Internet replacing television.
    Anyway they all definitely didn't want to be in this situation.
