Summary
So apparently Derek has a soft side. How does Stiles know this? Well, because Stiles knows everything. How? Because Stiles cant seem to keep his big f******* head out of places he really shouldn't be so could anyone really blame him when he found himself trapped under 220 pounds of pure muscle? With a boner? No....no not really. It's kind of just how the universe has been set up for him lately.
-----Under all the brooding half-lidded gestures Derek makes about 5k times a day, is a very small sliver of space where he occasionally rolls over to show the soft underbelly of his being.
WINE! WINE!! of all things. Stiles really wants Derek to feel okay with showing this side of himself more often but without boundaries or barriers, Stiles is likely to miss his one opportunity. So naturally, he does. And so does Isaac, because what's a pack without unrestrained access to Derek's home at all hours of the day? -

With a huff, he does.
The next page has the present date and a short message:Here we are on the first day of me gone. I am on my way to get properly educated and you are on your way to find a treasure chest. Wipe that frown off your face, Sourwolf.
We are both beginning an adventure, so put on something comfortable and pack a change of underwear.There’s an actual treasure map taped to the page.

Happily ever afters don’t happen to people like Stiles. He knows he should be grateful that he even has a heartstring to begin with. But it’s been cold and dormant for so long. What good will come out of having a soulmate now—one who has basically ignored Stiles’ existence for ages? What could Stiles possibly need from a person like that anyway?
