Shoes was helping herself to the parts of a motorcycle that was way too nice to be left unattended at night in this part of town. It was sure to be a decent pay out, until she heard the stupid robot voice call out from behind her, “You know, this is like some fucked-up, backwards deja vu for me.”
She tensed for a moment but didn’t bother turning to see the Red Hood there. At some point after the big bad crime boss started giving her tips on how to get away with stealing or offering her his fucking jacket in the cold, he started to lose his edge of intimidation. Instead she focused on removing the back tire of the bike and saying, “This is just some routine maintenance.”

The guy looks at the hand and back up at him before ultimately shaking his hand. Jack instantly wonders if his hand feels too soft against the hand that’s warm but rough. Like the guy's done hard labor in the past.
“Michael. Everyone calls me Robby though,” the guy says. “I did my undergrad at Pitt.”
