Summary
Charlie stepped closer, still smiling but with the palpable threat level of a mother who has decided you will take a family photo and you will look happy doing it. “It would mean a lot to me. And to everyone. And it would be wonderful for… bonding.”
Alastor’s eye twitched. “Bonding,” he echoed, radio static crackling around him. “With that pathetic piece of plastic waste?”
Angel, who had been following the exchange like a tennis match, giggled. “Aw, what’s wrong, Smiles? Scared your ex-lover’s gonna show up?”
Alastor visibly bristled at that. “He is not my ex-anything!”
~❄~
Or — Vox helped Charlie with a commercial, so he reluctantly had to interact with Alastor while they worked on it. Charlie witnessed their forced animosity firsthand and has now set herself the goal of helping them become friends again. She plans a Secret Santa exchange for the Hazbin Hotel and invites Vox, coming up with the perfect plan to manipulate Vox and Alastor into drawing each other. Because gifts do fix any relationship, right? What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
Lucifer, the absolute bastard, tilted his head, voice dipping into something smooth and easy. “Ah, there you are,” he murmured, like Vox was the only person in the room. “I thought you’d start the evening without me.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it, babe,” Vox responded smoothly, and—oh. Oh, that one hurt. The sheer fondness for someone else in his tone made Alastor’s ears ring.
Babe. Alastor had never been called that. Not even once.
And because the universe was a cruel and petty thing, Lucifer finally deigned to acknowledge Alastor’s existence—but only after he was done all but licking Vox’s screen in some obnoxiously unnecessary display of sloppily making out with him to show that he could. He glanced over with the kind of mild amusement one might offer an insect they weren’t sure was worth stepping on.
“Alastor,” he greeted. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” His smile was a touch too self-satisfying for that to be the case.

Or — Alastor is not doing well with not having Vox's attention on him for once and therefore invites himself to a dinner date.

Summary
“I can’t do this anymore,” he whispered to no one but himself.
The words were barely audible, but they felt heavy, like a confession.
“I can’t keep waking up thinking about him. Can’t keep wondering where he is, what he’s doing, who he’s with. It’s eating me alive.”
For the first time in weeks, he was actually being honest with himself. He glanced up at one of the blank monitors across from him. His reflection stared back, stretched and distorted by the curve of the glass. He barely recognized himself. He looked… tired.
“What’s the point?” he asked the dark screen. “He doesn’t care. He’s not coming back. He doesn’t even want to know me anymore.”
The silence that followed was the worst part. It gave no answers, just reflected everything back at him.
But maybe there was still one thing he could do.

Or — Vox's obsessive stalking is getting out of hand, and it starts not only affecting his health and personal life, but also his brand and relationship, so he makes the difficult decision to completely erase Alastor out of his memory once and for all.

Summary
He thought he was doing the right thing, that detachment would spare them both and that denying Vox’s affection, therefore pushing him back into a safer distance, was mercy. He convinced himself it was. That Vox deserved someone who could hold those feelings without flinching, someone who wouldn’t look at love like it was a trap door ready to snap.
To him, love—or whatever this fragile, delicate thing sparking between them back then—had been nothing but a temporary endeavor, fragile and unpredictable, and Alastor didn’t like things he couldn’t control. Love was for the foolish. For the weak, not meant for creatures proud like him. He wasn’t going to let himself be seen weak in any way—not even by his cherished best friend.
So he let it die. He let them die before it could grow into something real.
~*~
Or — a songfic about Alastor coming to the conclusion that even he wasn't above that infuriating little thing called 'love' when it was already too late.

Summary
Alastor hadn’t meant to come here.
It was just a walk, he told himself. Something to settle the nerves, get the blood moving, shake off the restless buzz that had dogged him since morning. He’d already crossed half the city before realizing where his feet had taken him—the Entertainment District. Vox’s domain.
He’d almost turned back when he spotted that ridiculous tower. Almost. But no, now he told himself he was just being curious. Restless, maybe. Bored, definitely.
Anything but what he actually was.
~*~
Or — Alastor is feeling agitated due to his approaching rut, so he decides to trespass on his rival's domain, digging up long buried memories in the process that won't help with his insecurities at all.

Summary
A talk show, a parade, a diner, subjecting him to the least compelling show he had ever been forced to watch. Honestly, it was the most insipid ‘victory celebration’ Alastor could imagine. He had thought Vox would be more… bold. It was what he had come to expect from the picture box, right from the start. But instead, all he was doing was showing him off and showing off himself. Both things Alastor would have expected, but to stop there? Which brought him back to, what was holding him back?
Alastor looked back down at the fabric in his hands, and his smile inched a touch higher. Oh, he knew just how to find out.

Summary
It all started with something the barman said, that wound its way around Billy Butcher's brain like a weed: “Have you tried fucking him? Maybe that would calm him down.”
And that is how he found himself, drunk off his arse, standing outside of Vought Tower at 3AM, cat-calling Homelander.
“Homelander...pspspsps, come ‘ere sweetheart,” Billy cooed at the sky. “Be a good boy and come to daddy...”
It was a great idea. He was sure of it.

Summary
He wished suddenly, viciously, that he had seen the Dreaming when it was a ruin. He wished he had laid his eyes upon the devastation of all that Dream held dear, wondered if the king of the abandoned kingdom had fallen to his knees at the sight, if the yawning cavern of his despair felt anything like The Corinthian's own.
Abruptly, Dream stopped, turning swiftly back to The Corinthian.
He was surprised to see Dream's lips parted as if shocked, something like horror, like pain, splitting open in his expression as he stared at him.
"I think I have absorbed the point of this little tour, my lord."
The Corinthian smiled without pleasure, without humor, without bite.
